TRADE STATS AND MARKET SUMMARY OF 24 DEC 2015

Market was completely range-bound throughout the day, domestic shares today ended almost flat with marginal losses pulled down by banking shares after a RBI report raised concerns over corporate vulnerability and bad loans. The Sensex ended lacklustre session on a weak note, slips 12 points to close at 25839 and Nifty declines 5 points to shut shop at 7861.

Total number of turnover in stock option 13666 & in nifty option is 144648 .Most active call option in stock option is RELINFRA 480 call LT 1300 call.  Markets ended flat on eve of Christmas Day amid. Nifty holds 7850 Nifty50 is at the same place where it was yesterday. It is in a low-trade zone. The currency market was closed today. The market will remain closed on Friday on account of Christmas.

The bullish ride has been started in the market from today. It is a positive sign for market that nifty has closed above the hurdle of 7850 . Market end at highest closing level since December 3 at 7866 . The Sensex was up 259 points at 25850 and the Nifty gained 79 points or at 7865. The rupee lost 0.19 paise against the US dollar to close at 66.14. During the year end holidays, there has been no selling pressure from foreign investors so far. In option total call put ratio in nifty option is 0.99 & 0.52 in stock option. Most traded stock option  is SUNPHARMA 800 call.

 Nifty gained 2 percent, supported by rally in initial part of the week Nifty ends  below 7800 the government on Friday lowered its economic growth forecast for 2015-16 to 7-7.5 per cent from 8 per cent. The market snapped four-day winning streak on Friday, falling more than 1 percent due to profit booking and correction in global peers after investors digested Fed event. Sensex climbs 170 pts ahead of Fed meet Nifty50 tops 7,700 .  The market gained strength in last couple of hours of trade. European markets were strong with the France's CAC, Germany's DAX and Britain's FTSE rising 1.5-2 percent. However, Asian markets closed lower with the Nikkei down 1.7 percent. In option LT & RELIANCE 980-1000 calls was most active call option while NIFTY 7600 put was most active c put.
